This Dewalt drill is built specifically for heavy-duty drilling into masonry, wood or steel. Most home theater installations will not require the use of a corded hammed rill unless you need to anchor into concrete or complete full concrete penetrations often. You can switch to standard drill mode as well, allowing you to use it for standard drilling metal or wood products.
